VOLUNTEERS NEEDED // DISTRIBUTION PUSH POST-THANKSGIVING

The SAFE Coalition has completed their initial round of need assessments on all families placed in the emergency shelter. Over the past two weeks, The Franklin Interfaith Council has been working to fulfill those initial needs while also continuing to sort donation that continue to trickle in. We are at the point now where we need to get stuff out.

To help speed up the process of distributing donations, we are soliciting volunteers to help pack donations at the Franklin United Methodist Church (82 West Central Street, Franklin) for distribution the week after Thanksgiving. Several additional packing days have been opened up. If you’re interested and available, click on the date (time) below and sign up. Registration is strongly encouraged as it helps us make sure that we don’t have too many people signed up for a single day. The max for each day is 8 volunteers. The space simply won’t accommodate more than 8 persons at a time.
